Scope and accountability

This notice describes the current ACDS Decision website, analyzers, email-code accounts, subscription access, account-synced My Farm records, device-local analyzer projects, Terms acknowledgement, optional anonymous analytics, and beta-feedback form. ACDS Decision is currently operated by Irwin Hol in Ontario, Canada (“ACDS”). The operator is accountable for personal information under ACDS control. The designated privacy contact is the Privacy Officer, ACDS Decision. Send privacy questions, requests, and complaints to privacy@acdsdecision.ca. ACDS requires service providers to handle information only for authorized purposes and with appropriate safeguards.

My Farm and analyzer projects

When you are signed in, My Farm can store and synchronize the farm identity, enterprise profile, land uses, parcels, equipment, buildings, farm strategy, map placements, a farm logo or identity image, and farm-supplied asset photos associated with that account. A browser cache supports fast loading and continuity if a connection is interrupted. Anyone with access to the device or browser profile may be able to view that cached copy.

Calculations still run in your web browser. Quick-screen and full-analysis inputs, project names, notes, source references, locally saved checkpoints, acquisition buy boxes, parcel watchlists, transaction milestones, decision-value estimates, and the analyzer project library remain in that browser unless you deliberately download, reopen, or share an editable backup. They are not part of My Farm account synchronization.

Listing and term-sheet text selected for the deterministic intake is read only in the browser. The raw pasted text or selected file is not saved in the project; only fields you deliberately confirm and apply can become project inputs or source notes. Selecting the optional anonymized-case checkbox does not transmit a project or authorize automatic submission. A separate intentional submission would still be required.

Deterministic calculations—not AI analysis

ACDS outputs are produced by versioned financial formulas running in the browser. The current analyzers do not send model inputs to a language model or other AI service for calculation, interpretation, recommendation, or report generation.

Account and payment information

ACDS uses the email address you enter to send a one-time sign-in code, identify your account, associate synchronized My Farm records, connect a Stripe subscription, and control access. Supabase provides email authentication. Stripe collects and processes checkout, billing-address, payment-method, invoice, refund, dispute, and subscription information under its own terms and privacy practices. ACDS receives identifiers and status information needed to confirm access, but does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code. The analyzers do not require a farm name, government identifier, banking credential, or AI data entry. Do not enter personal or confidential third-party information in project names, notes, references, or feedback.

Account synchronization, local storage, and Terms acknowledgement

ACDS uses account storage for signed-in My Farm records and browser storage as their local cache. Browser storage also holds analyzer drafts, named analyzer projects, workspace preferences, and a record that this browser accepted the current Terms version and acceptance time. The account session is stored in a secure browser cookie. You can remove records using the relevant ACDS controls; clearing browser data removes the local cache and device projects but does not remove a My Farm copy already synchronized to the account. It will also require a new Terms acknowledgement.

Saved, exported, and shared records

Deleting a synchronized farm from My Farm removes it from the account and connected cache after synchronization completes. Archiving an analyzer project keeps it in the same browser, and permanently deleting that project cannot be undone unless you kept an editable backup. Downloaded backups and printed PDFs are controlled by you and by any person, organization, software, or storage service with which you share them. ACDS cannot retrieve or delete copies you created outside the service.

Routine website metadata

Website infrastructure may process IP address, device or browser information, timestamps, requested pages, response status, performance data, and security events to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the service. ACDS does not use this routine metadata to calculate or personalize analyzer results. Infrastructure providers may maintain their own operational and security logs under their applicable terms and legal obligations.

Optional anonymous analytics

ACDS records optional product-usage counts only after you select “Allow anonymous analytics.” The stored record contains the UTC day, one of five permitted events—workflow selected, analyzer started, result reached, report downloaded, or feedback submitted—the ACDS surface involved, an optional broad mode, and an aggregate count. Events are combined into daily counters and are not joined into individual sessions or journeys.

ACDS does not include model inputs, project names, report contents, contact details, IP addresses, browser identifiers, referrers, advertising identifiers, or persistent visitor IDs in its analytics table. The preference is stored only in this browser. You can disable optional analytics at any time below without affecting an analyzer. Aggregate counters are retained for no more than 24 months.

Optional beta feedback

The feedback form stores the selected category and analyzer, optional role, completion, helpfulness, decision-effect, and report-sharing answers, written message, referring ACDS page, and submission time. It does not request a name, email address, telephone number, farm name, or model inputs. Feedback is used to investigate possible calculation concerns, understand usability and value, prioritize features, and document beta improvements. Do not include identifying, confidential, financial, or third-party information.

Use, disclosure, and service providers

ACDS uses information only for the purposes described here, operating and securing the service, investigating abuse or a calculation concern, complying with law, or protecting legal rights. Account and payment information may be processed by Supabase and Stripe. Information may also be processed by website hosting, database, private object-storage, security, and infrastructure providers acting for those purposes, or disclosed where lawfully required. ACDS does not sell feedback or use it for targeted advertising. Service-provider infrastructure may process information outside your province or Canada, where it can be subject to local law.

Retention and deletion

Synchronized My Farm records remain until they are deleted through My Farm or an account deletion request is completed. Device-local analyzer records remain until you delete them, clear browser storage, or the browser removes them. Optional feedback submissions and anonymous analytics counters are automatically removed after 24 months and can be deleted earlier by the restricted ACDS feedback administrator. Account and subscription records are retained while needed to provide access, maintain transaction and legal records, resolve billing matters, and meet applicable obligations. ACDS does not maintain a server copy of a device-local analyzer model input or project. Hosting providers may retain routine logs according to their own operational, security, and legal requirements.

Safeguards and limitations

ACDS limits feedback fields, stores analytics only as permitted daily counters, separates both from analyzer projects, restricts operations pages to the configured owner, protects account-synced farm photos behind the account session, and uses guarded deletion controls. No online service or browser storage is completely secure. Protect the device, browser profile, downloaded files, and any destination to which you send a report. Report a suspected security or privacy issue without including sensitive information.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can view, correct, or delete synchronized My Farm data directly in My Farm and can view, correct, export, or delete device-local analyzer data in the analyzer and project workspace. Because feedback intentionally excludes identity and contact details, ACDS may be unable to determine which anonymous submission was yours. Account holders may request access, correction, or deletion of account information, subject to transaction-record and legal retention requirements. Send privacy questions, access requests, corrections, deletion requests, complaints, or suspected privacy issues to privacy@acdsdecision.ca. Do not include model inputs, banking details, or confidential farm records.

Age and organizational information

ACDS is intended for adults making or reviewing agricultural business decisions, not children. If you use ACDS for an organization, follow its authorization, confidentiality, retention, and device-security requirements before entering or sharing organizational information.

Tracking and future changes

ACDS does not intentionally include advertising trackers or cross-site tracking. Optional first-party product analytics use the data-minimizing design described above. ACDS will review and update this notice before introducing team sharing, additional external integrations, new data collection, new categories of service providers, or materially different uses. The version and effective date identify the current notice.
